The winners of the annual Ottawa Arts Awards have been announced by the Ottawa Arts Council.
This year’s recipients are:

Finalist: Maura Doyle (Visual Arts)
Finalist: Andrew Wright (Visual Arts)
2017 RBC Emerging Artist Award: Gillian King (Visual Arts)
Finalist: Olivia Johnston (Photography)
Finalist: Catherine Voyer-Léger (Literary Arts)
Corel Endowment for the Arts Award: Anjali Patil (Dance)
2017 Project X Photography Fund Award: Peter Coffman
2017 Young Artist Award: Yasmine El Mansouri, Jennifer Lee
2017 Business and Arts Recognition Award: Star Motors of Ottawa
A total of $24,000 in prize money was awarded at an event held Tuesday evening at the Theatre and Studio of Arts Court.
