When There’s Nothing Left to Burn

April 17 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

ONE NIGHT ONLY! From the company that brought you last year’s hit political drama BUILDING THE WALL comes a new play that’s frightfully recognizable.

A fictional North American city is under siege from a series of bus bombings. A pair of twisted police investigators cracks down on a group of militant activists. Young lovers search for beauty in the shadows. And a cunning political strategist and her ambitious candidate take full advantage of the opportunities at hand.

Award-winning Ottawa playwright Sean Devine’s blistering new play WHEN THERE’S NOTHING LEFT TO BURN won a national playwriting competition and is currently being developed by Toronto’s Crow’s Theatre and Ottawa’s Horseshoes & Hand Grenades.

This staged reading stars Ottawa’s Kate Smith, Brad Long, Gabrielle Lazarovitz, Peter Haworth, Madeleine Hall, Chris Lucas, Puja Uppal, David Dacosta and Phil Merriman. Video design by Andrew Alexander. With funding support from the City of Ottawa and the Ontario Arts Council.
