The gift of music will be given this holiday season with a two concerts by the “boy band of the classical world,” the King’s Singers.

The sextet will be part of the Chamberfest winter concert series and will be performing on Dec. 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Dominion-Chalmers United Church.

Both the Singers and Chamberfest are celebrating anniversaries this year: 50 years for the six from the United Kingdom and 25 for the festival.

The program will also feature the Ottawa Choral Society led by Jean-Sébastien Vallée. Both ensembles will perform separately and then together what’s billed as a “one-of-a-kind collaboration” between the Singers and the Choral Society’s 120 voices.

Tickets for the show will go on sale during the summer festival which begins July 26. For more information on the festival please see chamberfest.com.
